المحددات الاقتصادية للبصمة البيئية في مصر خلال الفترة 1975-2021م

الملخص:
يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على المحددات الاقتصادية للبصمة البيئية في مصر، وذلك من خلال توضيح أهمية البصمة البيئية وتطورها، وتحليل أثر النمو الاقتصادي، ورأس المال البشري، والتنمية المالية، والاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر، والتحضر، والموارد الطبيعية على البصمة البيئية خلال الفترة 1975- 2021م باستخدام نموذج الإنحدار الذاتي للفجوات الموزعة المتباطئة (ARDL) لتقدير التغيرات في الأجلين الطويل والقصير، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة إيجابية بين البصمة البيئية وكل من النمو الاقتصادي والتنمية المالية والتحضر والموارد الطبيعية، وعلاقة سلبية بين البصمة البيئية و رأس المال البشري والاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر.

Abstract:
This study aims to identify the economic determinants of ecological footprint by analyze the effect of the economic growth, human capital, financial development, foreign direct investment, urbanization and natural resources, on the ecological footprint in Egypt using data from 1975-2021. We use an Auto Regressive Distributive Lag (ARDL) model to estimate the short-run and long run among the variables. Our findings suggest that economic growth, financial development, urbanization and natural resources have positive relationships with the ecological footprint. Human capital and foreign direct investment have negative relationships with the ecological footprint.
